Notes from the Couple:
Hello! Looking for a couple to take over our contract for our wedding, scheduled on May 2nd, 2021 at Berkeley Events’ Airship37 venue. Unfortunately, since booking our event back in February, my fiancé and I have suffered the loss of both of our incomes due to the COVID-19 closures. Consequently, we are not in a position to host a big wedding next year. Our wedding is booked for 100 guests at Airship37 on May 2nd, 2021. We have a deal in our contract where the venue rental rate is discounted from $3100 to $1500, paired with a wedding promotion that was available at the time of signing, which also gives us 10% off the cost per guest.
We have paid the first deposit (approx. $3600) and are looking for someone to take over the contract in exchange for cash at a discounted rate. It really is a beautiful space, and we wish we could host our wedding here! At this point, we would just like a portion of our deposit back, as it would help us out so much.
